Cannot upload pictures into Public folder

I'm having problem uploading pictures into the Public folder. What is happening ? Which button should I press to upload ? I think you should do away with private picture folder and put everything into public folder. Make it easy for users and let everybody see users pictures. Then you can attract more users.

i had the same problem, just go to "edit picture" change the status to "public"
